Yes. All genders are welcome to attend! Note however, all speakers and poster presenters will be women, as our goal is to promote women in machine learning. This is a technical workshop with exciting technical talks.

You can sign up to review for WiML when you submit your abstract through our abstract submission system. If you are not submitting an abstract but would like to participate in the reviewing process send us an email to sign up.
You do not need to attend both WiML sessions. However, to be eligible for a travel award you must participate in the abstract review process, have your abstract accepted for a talk or poster, and present your work at the poster session on the day you are assigned.
Travel awards are distributed based on geographic location and the amount varies depending on the amount of sponsorship funding. Support varies from year to year, but in the past attendees have received $300-$900 in support.
Yes, we encourage everyone to sign up to participate as a reviewer. We will match abstracts with individuals from all backgrounds. This is a great opportunity to get practice and acquainted with the conference reviewing system. Note, you must participate as a reviewer to be eligible for a travel award.
No, WiML is not affiliated with NIPs and as a presenter for WiML you do not qualify for the NIPS pool of tickets.
