2021 WiML Operation Administrator Call

WiML is seeking applicants for the position of Administrator. The ideal candidate will be
passionate about our mission and will oversee the administration, programs, and execution of
WiML’s strategic plan. Other key duties include fundraising, community education, marketing,
and annually identifying and assessing how the organization is achieving its mission.

General responsibilities

  1. Governance: work with the board to fulfill WiML’s vision and mission
    ○ Coordinate WiML’s activities in a manner that supports and guides the vision
    defined by the Board of Directors
    ○ Effectively communicate with the Board and provide, in a timely and accurate
    manner, information necessary for the Board to properly function and make
    informed decisions.
  2. Financial Performance and Viability
    ○ Assist the Treasurer in generating a yearly budget and monthly updates
    ○ Help with fundraising and developing other revenues as needed
    ○ Responsible for daily fiscal management to ensure proper resource utilization
    ○ Help prepare and gather documentation for annual financial review
  3. Organization Operation: oversee and coordinate resources to ensure effective
    operations
    ○ Recruit and coordinate volunteers
    ○ Set-up and maintain processes to ensure that operations follow the policies that
    govern our organization
    ○ Prepare meeting minutes
    ○ Manage and maintain IT tools (e.g., Google Suite)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of work history
  • Strong communication (written and oral)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience in project planning and management
  • Excellent work ethic
  • Proficient with G-Suite products (Google Sheets, Gmail, etc.)

Nice to Haves

  • 2 years of experience working in a nonprofit
  • Xero experience
  • Experience with CRMs (Salesforce, Salsa, etc.)

  • While WiML does not have a physical office, we are a nonprofit registered in the state of
    Massachusetts. Candidates living in MA are strongly preferred. This will be work from home
    position for the foreseeable future. Benefits for the position include a health stipend, paid
    parental leave, paid holidays, and 2 weeks of vacation.
